"Northshore and East Yar" is the new community Facebook group for seven Isle Of Wight WIs (Alverstone, Binstead, Creekside, East Cowes, Haylands, Newchurch and Whippingham), by being part of a group we will have a chance to socialise, have more expensive speakers, and be able to organise fun events.

Through the page we can post events, communicate, offer help and friendship to members outside our individual WIs, so please feel free to post and comment .

Disabled Access: Disabled toilets, good accessibility, hearing loop system

A typical monthly meeting will involve business updates, a speaker, a table sale related to the speaker's subject, show and share plus social time over tea. We enjoy fun, friendship and fellowship, with something different and interesting eveery month.

We organise bus trips, outings and two 'taster' days each year. Visitors will be made welcome and introduced to a 'buddy'.
