I was conceived in Argentina, and born at Plaish, Nr Carisbrooke.

I went to Clatterford Road, infants school and Caisbrooke junior schooL, Priory Girls school in Newport was my last school.

I have been a florist. worked with children, and looked after people, and been in entertainment, made parts for televisions too. Plus a lot of other jobs.

I just love teaching and seeing others achieve something.

I joined Whippingham WI in 1989 and was on the committee the next year. I have done all the jobs on a committee and became a WI Advisor 2023

As membership chair, I chair our meetings and we try and help all the WIs on the Island in anyway we can.

I now belong to two WIs Whippingham and Dual member at East Cowes.

I enjoy being a member of the largest women's organization.
